Information for MAIB providers

MAIB is working closely with all of our providers during this period.
At the current time our workforce is working away from our office to ensure we are able to continue to support our clients and providers during this period. Please continue to contact us on our usual email addresses or on 1800 006 224 (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm).

We will continue to reply to all enquiries as quickly as possible, however there may be some delays due to our remote working arrangements.
In line with the recent Commonwealth announcements, any existing MAIB clients will be able to access telehealth services from their general practitioner, treating specialist or rehabilitation provider where the provider determines it is clinically appropriate for the client and the provider to utilise telehealth services.
MAIB will be communicating directly with each provider group regarding the telehealth arrangements.

MAIB providers are encouraged to have the necessary plans in place to ensure continuity of care for MAIB clients and to ensure the safety of providers and their employees.

Please contact your usual MAIB staff member if you require any assistance.

Providers should regularly check the Department of Health website for the latest coronavirus advice and resources.
We would draw your attention to the resources available on the Department of Health and Human Services and NDIS websites, in particular:
There are a range of financial supports available for providers where their businesses have been financially impacted as a result of coronavirus.
